Founded in 1986 we offer a varied and stimulating range of activities that reflects the incredible diversity of The Arts. 

We are a member society of The Arts Society (www.theartssociety.org) an international charity that focuses on enriching lives through The Arts including the promotion of  arts education and heritage conservation.


We are Moving!!!!

13th November 2019 sees the last Society Talk at the Royal Agricultural University.

From 11th December 2019 The Society’s Talks will be hosted at, The Harnhill Centre, Harnhill, Cirencester, GL7 5PX.

The Centre is set in the beautiful Cotswold countryside yet only a few minutes from Cirencester (next left after Dobbies) and where a warm welcome awaits.

Refreshments available before the Talk.

Ample free parking.

An immersion into the life of an Auction House, the day includes the popular mini “Antiques Roadshow” as well as the art of auctioneering and an auctioneer’s view on lots in an upcoming auction.

Enjoy a warm welcome and a good lunch in relaxed convivial surroundings at the Village Pub followed by a private viewing of the 1999 remake of the film starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo across the road at Barnsley House, home to gardens designed by Rosemary Verey.
